I LOVE big container plantings and I also have come to like orange in them. Today I did a post on 'Manhattan' lilies. I will be following your garden growth all season.Diana LaMarrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11324428666401187803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-731207846496064700.post-24118536078160868932012-06-12T04:50:11.303-07:002012-06-12T04:50:11.303-07:00Thanks Kathy, One of those unplanned combinations ...Thanks Kathy, One of those unplanned combinations that surprise me from time to time.

Marie, I'd love you to be here too!Deanne Fortnamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17792741755739983035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-731207846496064700.post-2008138862885761942012-06-11T18:50:20.610-07:002012-06-11T18:50:20.610-07:00Love that combo on the east side with the Persicar...Love that combo on the east side with the Persicaria, 'Little Honey' etc..kshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10847026541797857854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-731207846496064700.post-43238633792060032982012-06-11T18:00:07.423-07:002012-06-11T18:00:07.423-07:00I'd love to be there....I'd love to be there....Gardenbughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04397016484686334001noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-731207846496064700.post-47532730450721604002012-06-11T17:02:13.622-07:002012-06-11T17:02:13.622-07:00Thanks Sue and Marie for visiting!

I'm trying to make myself stop and LOOK at least every other day, literally 'smell' the flowers and enjoy the butterflies and birds that visit our urban oasis.

Sue, no worries, we have ample adult beverages on hand for our festivities this weekend. RE H. 'Little HOney' Mine has FINALLY really gotten some nice growth on it this year and is going to bloom! woohoo!Deanne Fortnamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17792741755739983035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-731207846496064700.post-17802968100754846452012-06-11T15:54:37.680-07:002012-06-11T15:54:37.680-07:00Ice tea? It is hard to sit back in a hammock. Too often it only takes a single dead leaf or weed to make me pop up and get back to work.

You are right too about those periods of mourning. They ARE a cyclical thing. I've never looked at it that way before. Maybe I can conquer that. ;)Gardenbughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04397016484686334001noreply@blogger.com
