Garden Bloggers Bloom Day, July 15, 2014

I simply cannot believe that it is already the middle of July. Really???? at this rate the summer will be over the next time I blink my eyes.  Anyway, it's hard to believe I haven't done a bloom day since last September. Shame on me! I realized it was bloom day when  saw Allison's (Bonney Lassie) post so I
ran around just before a huge thunderstorm hit to get pics. Got in the house to a tornado warning.... Seriously?! in NH????!!! Anyway, no tornado just a very strong T storm with lots of rain and lightning.  I did have to make a couple forays in between the downpours.... Here are a few photos from July. Lots of lovelies blooming right now. Hope you enjoy. As always thanks to Carol from May Dreams Gardens for hosting this monthly blooming event.

  2. What a lovely Bloom Day post! I have lots of lilies blooming right now in my garden too. How scary to have a tornado warning. We seldom get tornadoes or even thunderstorms here, I'm not sure why. Plenty of rain, but hardly ever thunder.

    1. Thanks Alison! Don't you just love those lilies? There is noting quite like the scent of the garden when the Orientals and Orienpets are blooming. We rarely ever have tornado warnings here although Western Massachusetts had a terrible one several years ago. We do have frequent thunder storms in the summers though.

    1. Thanks so much! I enjoy having all those tropical plants here in NH as they are so uncommon here. I sure hope Cooper feels better soon. Could be a bee sting or a spider bite.
